Misty Mahoy

All About Balance MTB

Meet Misty Mahoy with All About Balance MTB — one of your Limitless MTB coaches and a true believer in women chasing adventure on two wheels.  She coaches with the same philosophy that drives her women’s adventure and riding brand: build confidence first, skills second, and community always. Her style is supportive, encouraging, and focused on smart progression—breaking things down so riders feel capable, brave, and excited to try again. Practice makes progress! This is a no-ego, all-welcome space where women show up exactly as they are, try new things, laugh a lot, and stack those “wait… I just did that?!” moments on the trail. When she’s off the mountain bike, she’s usually back on a dirt bike, chasing adventure and proving that confidence carries across all terrain and all kinds of riding with snacks.

Erin McMahon

Erin McMahon currently serves as the volunteer Vice President of SORBA and President of the Huntsville Area Mountain bike Riders (HAMR). She is a PMBIA Level 1 certified instructor with a heart for getting more women to feel confident and comfortable on bikes, and an IMBA trail crew certified trail maintainer. She has been mountain biking for nearly a decade, including racing everything from local time trials to long-distance NUE races, hitting the podium at Marathon Mountain Bike Nationals, and winning gold internationally for Team USA on their age group off-road duathlon team.

Amy Way

Amy Way serves as the Executive Director of Standing Boy Inc., the non-profit dedicated to the Standing Boy Preserve. An avid mountain biker and hiker, she is a Level One PMBIA certified instructor whose true passion is working with first-time riders and introducing them to the sport for the very first time. This dedication to instruction is a natural extension of her background as a retired music educator. When she isn’t on the trails, you can find her practicing classical piano or playing acoustic guitar and singing in the local Columbus band, The Viberations.

Amber Draper

Amber started mountain biking as a way to get some exercise. Somewhere between the climbs and the flow, it turned into a full-blown obsession with getting more women on bikes and building community on the trails.

She’s been a volunteer with Birmingham Urban Mountain Pedalers (BUMP) and SORBA for many years, pouring her energy into making the local trail scene more welcoming for women. As coordinator of the BUMP Betties and event coordinator for the Limitless MTB Festival, Amber has made it her mission to create space where women riders can connect, grow, and push their limits together.

These days, she coaches riders from total beginners to light intermediates who want to level up their skills and actually enjoy the ride. Amber believes that having the courage to show up is the first step to building something amazing and she’s seen it happen over and over again on the trails.

Audrey Tangye

Based in the Homewood area of Birmingham, Alabama, Audrey Tangye is a mother, caretaker, and Registered Nurse specializing in Multiple Sclerosis education. While her nursing career is dedicated to helping MS patients, her personal life is defined by a deep passion for cycling—a journey that began on a mountain bike at age 23. Today, she is an all-genre cyclist, finding energy and balance across road, gravel, and her “first love,” the trail.

For years, Audrey was a staple in the cross-country circuit, competing in local classics like Bump and Grind. However, at age 42, she discovered a new calling in ultra-endurance racing. In 2017, she trained for and completed her first major bikepacking event, the Trans North Georgia Adventure (TNGA). This opened the floodgates to a prolific endurance career, including an additional TNGA finish, the Vista 300, California’s Stagecoach 400, the Fried Clay 400K, Unbound 200, multiple Skyway 100s, the Death March Revival 88, Dirty 130, and Rouge Roubaix, among many others in between.

In June 2021, Audrey embarked on her most significant adventure: the Great Divide Mountain Bike Race/Tour Divide. This 2,700-mile journey from Canada to New Mexico was a deeply personal tribute to her dear friend Grace Ragland. Grace, who lived with MS and passed away in 2020, completed the race in 2018 and lived by the motto, “To finish is to win.” Inspired by Grace’s resilience, Audrey completed the Tour Divide in 29 days—experiencing a grizzly bear encounter on day one and averaging 85 miles per day until she reached the border at Antelope Wells.

Audrey’s momentum continues into 2026 with two major milestones on the horizon: the Unbound XL, a grueling 358-mile gravel race, and the prestigious Leadville 100 in August.

Audrey has ridden a Mosaic MT1 Titanium Hardtail 29 mountain bike for all of her Bike packing adventures since 2017 but “gears” more towards a gravel bike for Gravel racing as opposed to a mountain bike. This year she will be riding and racing her mountain bike and gravel bike for the new, first ever, Mosaic Factory Off Road Team. One of 15 team members selected to represent Team Mosaic Bikes! Mosaic, out of Boulder Colorado, specializes in custom and stock titanium mountain, gravel and road frames with some of the most unique and beautifully crafted frames and paint schemes on the market.

Beyond the finish lines, Audrey is driven by a mission to share her knowledge and experience. She is dedicated to inspiring other women to step out of their comfort zones, embrace “epic things,” and challenge themselves to discover what is possible.
